-All the bugs move at different speeds. Knowing which bugs are fast and which are slow is very important. On the main menu/instructions screen you will see all the bugs at the bottom. They are listed by speed from left to right. Left is slowest and you as you move right, they are faster.

-You do not need to squash all the crawling bugs. You want to eat all the flying bugs in the shortest time possible. Sometimes it is to your advantage to squash bugs, and sometimes better to leave or just push them back.

-Bug bombs need to be timed right. Sometimes you want to trigger them right away, other times you want to wait.

-For levels with shielded bugs you want to be as efficient as possible. Concentrate on squashing a few bugs off at a time. The sooner you squash individual bugs the less work you will have to do.

-Squash crawling bugs that are near the wall at the beginning of the level. If you see any fast bugs near the wall at the start, it is often a good idea to get them first.

-Use short bursts to keep flying bugs from the laser. If too much is going on, you may need to pull the flying bug back a bit and then finish what you are doing.

-Tap and release often, sweep sometimes. Tap and release allows you to quickly place your shots in different directions and also allows a better view of the game field. Sweeping is good when you need to target many crawling bugs in a small area.
